If you are concerned about a tree on your property, it is often worthwhile having it independently assessed by a consulting arborist. Tree owners are often encouraged to believe that their tree presents an unacceptable risk, when in reality it is manageable or the risks are negligible. There can be a conflict of interest at play when a tree service provider appraises your trees, as they stand to benefit from convincing you the tree is dangerous.
